prove ownership on youtube? 2012-10-03 05:37:25 Reply

Hi guys i need help here! :(
Everytime i upload an animation to youtube, and i can't monetize them (need to prove rights), even when they feature nothing but my art and voice.

examples:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjHeUdQLiIY

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhoZPz_FJn8

How do you go about this? some things i was able to monetize but mot of them i wasn't...
If i tell them i create them they just disable the monetization for the video and it will not be looked up again unless i delete and resubmit which does not make me happy!

What happens when you try to monetize? Does the monetize button just freeze or says error when you press the button? When the freeze or error happens, I use a different internet browser like internet explorer and it works. My default internet browser is Chrome.

what happens is that it enters in an "under review" status and a day after that i get an email from youtube saying "More information is needed to consider the request for monetizing your video."

Thanks for submitting your (s) video (s) for monetization.

For now, we can not approve your (s) video (s) for monetization because we do not have enough information about your rights as a commercial. You might contemplate revising your (s) video (s), provided that you show that you are authorized (a) to commercially use all elements of your content. This includes video, music, pictures, video-game sequences and other visual or audio. Learn more about what kind of content you can monetize YouTube. If you used your third-party content (s) video (s), see this article and get suggestions on how to claim rights for commercial use.

If you provide information that demonstrates that you have the rights to use on your commercial (s) videos, submit it below:

"[Wrong way] IOS 6 Maps Parody"
Send information about this video

. Note that you can only publish advertisements in videos whose content conforms to the requirements of advertisers. YouTube reserves the right to decide if a video is monetized or not, and may disable monetization for users who repeatedly send videos ineligible. All videos are subject to the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines YouTube, and can be removed from the site if you do not meet these standards.

Thank you.

The YouTube Team

Stating that i own it just won't cut it so i wonder how other animators deal with this.
