A lazy Sunday afternoon 2012-09-30 09:03:08 Reply

Another Sunday, no doubt another slow paced day for most of you. So, what's up?

Me? I decided that I'd give my room a clean out. Not that it particularly needs one but certain areas are getting a little cluttered. I guess the clutter only plays a small role in my decision to clean up. Subconsciously, I'm probably doing this to avoid doing other, more important tasks that I should probably be doing instead.

I unearthed some stuff that I forgot existed:
- Some old uni books I've been meaning to put on Amazon for the past 3 years. They're probably outdated now
- Novels that I planned on reading but never did. Not much of a reader anyway
- My old GAME and GameStation loyalty cards that probably have no use now
- A job application rejection letter
- A polling card (lol)
- A softcore 2012 porn calendar. Must have forgot to put it up. Damn, only 3 months left
- An envelope with "£150" written on it. Sadly it contained no such thing

So peeps, how are you planning on spending this fine Sunday?

I go out to work on Monday morning
Tuesday I go off to honeymoon
I'll be back again before it's time for sunnydown
I'll be lazing on a Sunday afternoon
Bicycling on every Wednesday evening
Thursday I go waltzing to the Zoo
I come from London town
I'm just an ordinary guy
Fridays I go painting in the Louvre
I'm bound to be proposing on a Saturday night
There he goes again
I'll be lazing on a Sunday lazing on a Sunday
Lazing on a Sunday afternoon

I'm working on the animation jam thing and most likely will not do anything else. Maybe I'll do homework too.

Thread title was actually inspired by Toy Doll's cover of the song A Lazy Sunday Afternoon. Originally by Small Faces.

My room is now clutter free in all visible areas. Concealed areas are a different story. Guess I should try and do something a little more productive with the rest of my day.

It was like 9am when you made this thread.

Also, my time zone is the only correct one.

Lazy Sunday, wake up in the late afternoon
Call Parnell just to see how he's doin'
Hello? What up, Parns?
Yo, Samberg, what's crackin'?
You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'? Narnia

Man, it's happenin'
But first my hunger pangs are stickin' like duct tape
Let's hit up Magnolia and mack on some cupcakes
No doubt, that bakery's got all the bomb frostings
I love those cupcakes like McAdams loves Gosling

Two, no, six, no, twelve, bakers' dozen
I told you that I'm crazy for these cupcakes, cousin
Yo, where's the movie playin'? Up on west side, dude
Well, let's hit up Yahoo Maps to find the dopest route

I prefer MapQuest, that's a good one too
Google maps is the best, true that, double true
Yo, sixty eight to Broadway, step on it, sucka
Whatcha wanna do Chris? Snack attack, muthafucka

Yo, stop at the deli, the theater's overpriced
You got the back pack? Gonna pack it up nice
Don't want security to get suspicious
MrPibb and Red Vines equals crazy delicious

Yo, reach in my pocket, pull out some dough
Girl acted like she'd never seen a ten befo'
It's all about the Hamilton's, baby
Throw the snacks in the bag
And I'm a ghost like Swayze

Roll up to the theater, ticket buyin'
What we're handlin', you can call us Aaron Burr
From the way we're droppin' Hamilton's
Now parked in our seats, movie trivia's da illest
Whose "Friends" alum starred in films with Bruce Willis?

We answered so fast, it was scary
Everyone stared in awe when we screamed, Matthew Perry
Now quiet in the theater or it's gonna get tragic
We're about to get taken to a dream world of magic

After buying mirrors edge I had to deal with my tasteless brother complaining about how it sucks because it's not call of duty.

I'm planning to draw and attempt to make music again.

I quite literally have had nothing to do this afternoon. I moved back into university yesterday, and stuff only starts up on Thursday, so I'm pretty much just chilling and browsing the internet. Meh, kind of wish I had something to do...

Song of the Firefly is on Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter. Give them a look and support the project!

What novels are they? I did what I seem to do every Sunday and worked then came home and sat wondering when something fun is going to happen. Then realising that sitting and wondering does not really make things happen. It's a vicious cycle.

I've spent most of my day watching Modern Family and just generally browsing the internet, nothing productive or even mildly interesting. I have an excuse though, had a terrible cold the last couple of days so I must stay indoors and do nothing!!

Well, I've got to finish my report on genetics for school. However, I should probably be doing that rather than spending my time on Newgrounds and 4chan.

I am such an idiot.....

Eh, there was a few. Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (Trilogy in 5 parts), The Wavesinger (novel written by a guy at my uni, made me want to check it out), The Shadow Project (probably a generic thriller) and Quicksilver (probably the biggest novel I own. I'll never read all that). There's also a boxset of about 10 thriller titles that I picked up because it was reduced from £50 to about £5. I like thrillers but I don't read often.

I did what I seem to do every Sunday and worked then came home and sat wondering when something fun is going to happen. Then realising that sitting and wondering does not really make things happen. It's a vicious cycle.

Yea, I sometimes find myself doing that. That's usually when I decide to leave the house and take the dug for a walk. Which I didn't do at all this weekend actually. Not really having the kind of weather I like walking in just now.
