So uhm, yeah, my art thread.
I started being serious on drawing and stuff about 2 weeks ago.
So before being serious, ive added doodles/skecthes on my art, uhm, area.
So my doodles + this serious drawings = unscouted limit.
So in order to get scouted, I need to improve.
NG friends, amaranthus and wavepad, told me to to make an art thread where I show my art and stuff to you guis (or whoever reads this thread) and give me advice and stuff I guess.
So yeah. hello. please help me. thanks.
So how do I do this?

Ok ill start with this one.
Btw, all my art are fanarts where I still used a lot of reference cuz im still not used to posing and stuff.

1st time trying to color my drawings.
I retraced my sketch and colored it with adobe flash.
It was freaking hard.
This was before i got photoshop so yeah.

2nd attempt to draw regular show.
most of my drawing are dark cuz of me using the mulitply layer.
this was back when I didnt know how to make my skecthes purely black and white.
So yeah, most of my drawing are dark.
I used paintoolsai to color this.
It was also my 1st time color with this technique so its still bad.

Drew sonic.
I totally wanted to try and make the trees and sky look more brighter, but forgot to save the file and didnt want to recolor it again. D:
I really also had a hard time thinking of a good background, so after lots of erasing 3 background ideas, end up with this.

Little hint for your far backgrounds, the colors become more dull and blend. Not brighter. So your trees in the back and mountains will be more washed out with gray rather than just be darker.

Also keep in mind that here in this sonic pic, you aren't really conveying the speed of the picture.You might want to add a bit more stretched pose. Also stretch out out some color from sonics feet and hands and stuff. Do similar with the pillars and shadows on the background.

I really failed at this one.
Finns hand is so bad, and I put non effort into this at all.

Oh so it gets more darker.

I wasnt really showing that sonic was running super fast, but i guess it would be much more cooler if I drew him that he was running much faster.
And, Im still having trouble coloring though.
Sometimes I just dont get it and me ending up boing ugly shades.
I need more practice.

So anyway, tried to draw tmnt's leo without any reference.
I made a huge mistake of him standing.
It looks like he's not standing straight and was in this shape "/"
Sigh...

Not much to say about this.
I wanted to make this more colorful though.
Stupid gray thingy on paper making colors darker. D:

Ok last for today. Need to get some sleep!
This is also the last drawing before I learned how to make the sketch more black and white.
So my future drawings, i have more freedom on color! :D

The 2nd picture you posted is currently the best. You should try to focus on more than just fanart.

Your Reg. show art is very good. I'm curious to see whether you'll upload original art too.

Currently, I want to try and improve with fanarts.
And I so suck when I do my own art.
But sure ill try original art in the future.

You've got potential, and it's nice, but like everyone says to me, you have to practice if you want to get really good at this kind of thing.

So got a graphics tab and tried to retrace my drawing that I really wanted to color.
I retraced it cause I drew this on a writing notebook/
I did an ugly job though. D:

The background is just some lense effect and and twist effect.

I kinda lack creativity.
I just cant think of a thing to draw.
Just yesterday I was just messing around in photoshop trying to do maybe an OC or something, but always end up weird looking shaped characters. D:
So I just did the reincarnation demon my own style which also looks kinda bad.

The pencil drawings have a LOT of personality to them and although you may dislike the greyness of your scanned paper, it sort of adds to a fuzzy-feeling whole.

Well, I dont have a scanner so I took shots of it with this 16MP camera which almost looks as good as scanned quality.
And when it comes to coloring it, i manage to make it completely white and black, and still have the outline look pencil like, which is so cool! :D

Cool, ur art skill are improve so well (and much). More post more better!
