Okay so... the minimum and the recommended specs for this game are almost identical. Can someone please explain to me why in the fucking hell a game would have equal minimum and recommended requirements. People are saying the requirements are high b/c the game is "hot". Okay let's see a screenshot.
IMO Borderlands 2 looks better than this crap. The developers obviously suck cock and if this game lags on my 5570 I'm going to be pissed.

You obviously don't know much if you think that you can tell if the graphics are "good" or if they warrant high system requirements based on an early screenshot of the game. The specs don't seem unreasonable.

I assume they mean 3.0GHz Pentium D or AMD X2 (3800+) equivalent, which isn't much these days.

What are you talking about? That screenshot looks amazing! It looks almost real, which is way better than Borderlands's shit cell shading (the only complaint I have about the game, it's otherwise amazing).

That isn't that great these days, for the most graphic intensive games. Get a 2GB.

That conclusion doesn't follow. The game has high graphic requirements whether it's on a PC or not. It's not somehow more GPU intensive when you run it on your PC. They just made it with graphics in mind.

Notice how it says 3.0GHz dual core or 2.4GHz quad core?

I'm guessing it's because the game uses two threads, and if you don't have extra cores or threads, then you need more headroom in the GHz department.

I only see GHz (or lack thereof) as a potential problem for those who want to play it on a mainstream laptop.
