Today, as part of a research study I was hypnotized, the experience was very strange, being aware of things but really not, and my entire body felt heavy, and when asked to do prompts only a few I could actually do because my body didn't want to move.
I was wondering what experiences anyone else here may have experienced as being hypnotized.

If you get hypnotized while you need to piss will you piss yourself?
No. You should try it.

Sad, hypnotism only works when you willingly accept to be hypnotized. If you have a tough mind, you will block out the possibility of hypnotism. In this case you must fake the hypnotism before the night is over, in which you shall give them a great show and become the main attraction with the hypnotist for the remainder of the fortnight. Mark Twain did it.

yeah, sarah labrie is awesome. there's also a form of hypnosis that relies on sounds, clicks, and noises called ASMR, and it works pretty good as well IMO

You shouldn't need someone else to give you instructions in order to relax.

"suggestion" is a better word for the phenomenon than "hypnosis." hypnosis carries with it this connotation that it can be weaponized due to so much history of misinformation. it is "guided relaxation," and it's really not up to someone with the name of "dickbuns" to decide how one should relax anyway.

That's a very cool and edgy opinion you have there. I also hate the sound of the human voice and I have never heard a soothing voice. I hate it when people go near me or try to help me, I do everything myself bitch.

What a cute alternate account that someone has to hide behind because they don't have the balls to say it with their actual account.

Well, if I decide helps me then why shouldn't I use it?
The only reason not to is out of pride. There no shame in taking advantage of help when it's provided, especially when I can access it this easily.

If having difficulty relaxing or being stressed makes me a "nutbar" then okay.
