Why can't I create a classic tween?

When I want to create a tween, I can only select "Create motion tween", thus I want to create a classic tween. Why is that?
Here is a picture for you to see the problem.
Oh and BTW I'm using Flash 8.

lol... because that IS the classic tween. In newer version of flash, when you create a 'classic tween' you are using the flash 8 method instead of the new way.

I still don't understand. The classic tween and motion tween aren't the same.

Unless I... oh, now I get it. I need to make two separate layers for every tween to make it work. Problem solved.

They are. Classic is just the term used in newer versions of flash for the old flash 8 way. The NEW tweening method is MUCH different.
