I don't have a Newgrounds shirt but I generally show up with metal band T-shirts. However, I do have a completely different shirt to wear this time. ;)

Saw a few posts with questions so here's some answers:

Q: Is this an adult extensive thing?

Not entirely, this is partly why its split into a two-day event. Day one is the older crowd and so its 18+ and held at night. Day two is anyone can come, and it is held in the afternoon. Naturally, if you're over 18, you benefit from being able to pick which days to come to, or goto both. The crowd on Day two tends to be larger. Some people find that a good thing, some dont, either way, if its something local to you and you have the means of making it, its a pretty unique experience. Can't speak for everyone but most people who have attended these and other events in the past seemed to enjoy them.

Q: Do I need to sign up?

No, you can just follow the thread and show up if you want. It's a community event, so you dont have to be an animator/programmer/moderator/musician/or anything really, if you have a mild interest in newgrounds then you will probably fit right in.

Q: Which days should I goto?

If you are over 18 you have the luxury of picking either day. Some people just come for one, its pretty open-ended. You might get a different crowd depending on which day you show up on. The first day is obviously an older crowd and generally not as large of a group (about 15-20 people?). The second day is anywhere from 20-40. Its unpredictable. I think in the mid twenties is a safe bet though. When Tom showed up a few years ago it was something like 45 or something.

My only hint is that I got it for Christmas. I've yet to wear it, actually and will save it for the meet. That's how special I think both the shirt and the meet are.

Didn't realise the events part was updated until now. I've never even heard of Barrio East before but I'll see what it's like when I get there.

Yeah i updated it last night. Its a new place that just opened. We went to a different one prior years on Day 0 events. (Barrio North i think?) anyway, the main reason for going there is the happy hour, which is long and relatively cheap for london standards.

God, you could just as well be holding the Day 2 evening at a puppy party, for that is how much I enjoy a good cocktail.

Oh hey, one week away. This is a reminder for anyone planning to attend any events labeled 18+ that you will need your ID. Even if you look well past the age of 18, there is probably going to be someone in the group that doesnt and so everyone will get carded.

There's always someone in the group that gets left behind no matter how many times i post this. Dont be that guy/gal .... Bring ID.

The best chance to see him was in 2009 when he showed up here. He was originally put down to attend Manchester last year but it didn't work out in the end for him. It's hard to say when he'll be here in the UK again.

More necessary for me seeing as I lost all contacts on my phone. Definitely need it incase I do want to contact you and find out if a little something is going on for Thursday night. If not, there's no problem with chilling at the flat that night. My only problem with Thursday is how early I've booked myself to be there so I'll be wandering around London for around 5 hours.

Anyway, there is snow forecast on friday / sat. Friday's event is at night so i'll be able to update that as necessary, if it looks like the train service might be an issue. Saturday should be ok. But its weather so who knows. If you see nobody around on saturday, then goto namco bottom floor.

As for Thursday, there is no 'official' events planned, but i may come up with one on the fly, for anyone local or in the area. K thats all for now.
