Sadly I won't be going to this meetup, I have other things I need the money for but would have been awesome to go, will try go to 2014s meetup. Have a drink for me, and when I say "a" have many and get wasted then have a hot orgy.

I accept this challenge and I will not rest until Bahamut has a suitable haircut for large society.

Not the ponytails!

Also I guess if anyone wants to join me on Gagsys awesome Tourist shit they are welcome to.

I'd join your tourist shit anyday gurl.

I'd love to come to this, but:

1) Ryanair don't fly from Glasgow to London anymore and I can't find anyone else who does for less than ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Also trains are expensive too and buses are slow due to air resistance or some shit.

b) I'm kind of in the Territorial Army now (a bit) and I'm already taking the Saturday before and after this weekend off work, so the odds of me getting another Saturday off are slimmer than a toothpick that's been strategically shaved.

iii) Usual grumblings about post Christmas funding issues and my inability to save up for things and London prices because I'm Scottish and naturally cheap. And sweary.

Four) Actually I can't think of a fourth reason but I wanted to have four reasons because four is a square number and square numbers are cool and the next one is nine but I definitely couldn't think of that many reasons.

I'm already looking into trains and I'm as early as 13 weeks to book the tickets but prices I'm getting are £37 each way. Apparently I might still be too soon to book but if that's still what I get then I'll just be getting the coach. I'd suggest coach to you but I know how tedious the journey will be from there to London. Six hours just from Liverpool to London feels too long for me.

I just had a quick look on the trainline and its coming in at £120 minimum. My Megabus is a 9 hour journey, which is really more than a human brain can bear unless you cut the thinky bit out first.

We should hold a protest meet in Manchester ;-)

Well that's me booked. £12 each way and that's coming from Liverpool on Thursday and leaving London on Sunday evening. Day 0 of the meet is doable for me this time so I'll see whoever then. I'm going to guess I'll wake up at 2 or 3 in the afternoon on Sunday so I'm left with a handful of hours before I need to head to Euston to get back home. See you all in January!

Seriously staff, fix the fucking pound sign already.

Maybe that's where I've been going wrong - too much badass facial hair for any ID to be required!

Your meet lacked a few things - my money to get there, Luis' epic presence... um, yeah, that might have been about it, actually.

It's cool, we'll have tons of fun without him. We'll have our own gig with blackjack, booze and hookers.

I'd be very interested, if it wasn't in January but during the summer. I'll be very likely back at university by that date so there's pretty much no chance in hell of me getting to the meet.

This too will pass.

I can't get any more time off work, so if I showed up, it'd only be for one day, which doesn't really seem all that fun for all that distance.

Incredibly expensive travel and accommodation costs is most likely why there was no Olympic meet up.
Plus London isn't exactly a tourist friendly city at the best of times.
