I say "good," people who used to be regulars become assholes or feel inactive when they get modded. I say if its someone we dont know or care about the better.
There needs to be more BBS mods. There's hardly any active ones these days.

He wasn't a mod until yesterday, unless he got demodded, he wasn't on the BBS mod list. I don't remember him ever being a mod of any sort before now.

It would just mean that the other 6 days the other mods are moderating it. Also, just because he doesn't post doesn't mean he isn't moderating. Moderating does take some effort, which cuts down on the amount of time any moderator can post. That's part of the reason why many mods become lurkers.
Never seen this guy before, but congrats anyway, please don't ban me, and please don't be a shitty mod.

To answer any concerns. Yeah, I'm gonna be around more now. I have shiny new buttons that I'm itching to use. Be groovy people and they will not be used on you. I'm reachable on the pm thingy. That is all.

You think Wade would mod somebody because a portal mod suggested them? I'd probably have to be a BBS mod myself before Wade would even considers modding anybody I suggest.
