I find myself constantly playing with ideas and its so bad that I'll often space out at the worse times; like in the middle of conversation because I'm hung up on sentence or a phrase, and sometimes its so bad that I end up having trouble following or progressing the conversation altogether. I was wondering if anybody else has the same problem and if so what is it like for you and what do you do about it?

But in a way Im glad you did it because this is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. I'll get hung up analyzing the logistics of starting a multi-trillion dollar astroid mining coorperation when my friends now talking about Kat williams and I've totally lost track of whats going on.

So work towards that goal. Nothing's stopping you from starting a multi-trillion dollar asteroid mining cooperative. Except, maybe, your insistence on keeping the same circle of friends who are interested in comedy.
........ good call. Except those are the only friends I can find. Hard to come across the 'theoretical type' in a sea of intellectual complacency.
But this still doesn't really address my original problem.... I think... or maybe it does in some insidious way.

You mean that you don't have the money to start an asteroid mining cooperative. Don't worry, you just need to come up with a workable, cost effective technology for mining asteroids and James Cameron and his crew should give you all the money you'd ever need to do it.
.....so, about that 8ft tall ragweed in the midwest. I bet it is going to make the price on my corn flakes go up. Any ideas?
