How do you achieve this in flash? 2012-09-23 15:54:51 Reply

Notice in that video the guy uses his mouse to move around movie clips and the frames on the timeline are actively tracing his movements essentially making it MUCH easier to make Madness style animations. I never knew flash could do this

He probably just set up hotkeys/keyboard shortcuts to add a new keyframe and to scrub one frame at a time. You can customize these under Keyboard Shortcuts in your menus (I'm on a Mac and it's under Flash).

I think he might just be using keyboard shortcuts to advance to the next frame and then make a new keyframe. Like he's using his left hand for the keyboard and his right for the mouse. I imagine after you do it for a while, you get fast at it...

Yeah, just tap f6 to create a new keyframe, f7 to create a new empty keyframe and f5 to add a frame (increase the duration of the currently selected keyframe). Easy Peasy
