Last Living Souls is amazing. Hard to pick a favorite Gorrilaz track honestly. Such an amazing group, the Pink Floyd of our generation.

My favourite song is Happy Camper by Strapping Young Lad, and my favourite character has to be that 'if I was a rich man'-guy from fiddler on the roof (1971).

Am I the only one that thinks The Fall is a pretty shitty album?
Also, my favorite song is 5/4 from the first album.

This thread lacks Russel.

more like take john lennon's shriveled up decomposing dick out of your mouth and accept that in the 40 or so years since the beatles so much better music has come out and we should probably move on. esp. since nostalgia and "simpler times" are both bullshit concepts holding society back.

but anyway gorillaz are pretty fucking good, strong aesthetics and strong jams 9/10

LOVE Gorrillaz! Ever since I heard the Clint Eastwood Single I was all over them. I've been utterly awestruck by how amazing each of their albums is. Not only are they great, but they are extremely diverse as well.

Favorite Songs has to Be:
El Manana
Melancholy Hill
KWG
Clint Eastwood

ugh, I have too many to list. The only album I had mixed feelings about was The Fall but I contribute that to never actually sitting down and listening to it.

Am I the only one who doesn't really like Plastic Beach? Seriously, the album has made me stop Gorillaz cold turkey around three times. At this point I've given up on the possibility of liking the album.

But anyways,

1. Feel Good Inc.
2. 19-2000
3. Clint Eastwood
4. Dirty Harry
5. El Manana
6. Fire Coming Out Of A Monkey's Head
7. DARE
8. Demon Days
9. All Alone
10. Don't Get Lost In Heaven

Yes, I fucking love Demon Days.

in my heart of hearts i don't like to consider it a gorillaz album

recorded on an ipad during a tour and with almost no guest artists

not a recipe for success for a band relying on diverse musical talents and production

Yeah, but considering their level, at least they should have polished it up a little. It seems like just a selling stunt from them.

And, as for my favorite character-either Noodle or 2D, but most likely Noodle. I haven't actually listened to their first album yet, I think I'll go do that.
I've been listening to Demon Days since it came out in 2006, when I was 11ish. It is and has always been one of my favorite albums.

I remember being into them back in 6th grade and when I first saw the El Manana music video, I was going insane because I thought they killed noodle. So I went and bought that fancy rise of the ogre book of theirs. I was satisfied after that.
