I've whacked some shapes in patterns before but never actually drawn with my tablet into anything interesting.

Considering how few actual submissions there are, there's a definite possibility of a deadline extension... but that's up to Tom, so I wouldn't assume anything. Your best bet would be to try to make the current deadline... or at least post a wip to show your progress. That might help sway any decisions to give more time.

yours is looking good, for the background looks interesting the white lab, if you can use a depth of field effect for the background would look awesome
