Depends on the person.There are some people to whom if you provide some solid and good arguments they will alter their opinion. However there are those douchebags (my father and my brother e.g) who believe their logic is always better,won't even try to think about your opinion and will get angry if you provide those good,solid arguments.

Back on topic. Sir, if you want to change someones mind, may i suggest reading up on argumentation? That might be more help then psychology itself, as psychology is a study, and the art of argumentation uses the results of that study to develope techniuques to ggive you an edge in a conversation. Also, having a proper, valid point helps too :P

I have taken numerous psychology classes and they have never mentioned anything like that. It's probably because it's most likely an unethical thing to do, so they don't teach it. I agree with you, I meant cool in the sense of interesting to know about, I wouldn't want to even know there was scopolamine in my city.

You can put your worries to rest, I can't see any major demand being large enough when there are alternatives such as the date rape that are a little more safer, not nearly as intense, and much more widely available. Would be scary as shit if it was more widely available.
