I don't understand why people feel the need to do something like this. The child has anencephaly and she still decides to keep it? Doesn't she understand that her child won't be able to live life normally? This is horrible, what has happened to her isn't a miracle, she should just move on accept that this child isn't going to enjoy life.

You gotta understand it's not exactly an easy decision for a parent to make to simply part from their child. Especially if they've been waiting for them for the entire nine-months.

Most parents love their child unquestionably. That's why you see some parents bailing their trouble-making adult-kids out of jail all the time. Maybe, it would have been best for the parent to give up the kid since it likely won't be a happy child -- but asking the parent to just have her child killed, regardless of its symptoms, is heartless.

It's best not to rage over this matter. Be thankful you simply don't have to make that decision. At least, yet.

In my opinion I approve of the mothers decision. Loosing a child before it is born is truly heart wrenching, my sister died in the womb and it left a mark on my mother, especially with my birth since I also almost died in the womb. Tearing the child from a mother is worse than you can really imagine, it is better to loose the child after being with it for a short while than to never be able to hold it. It may seem morbid to others, but it let the mother cope.

I wasn being sarcastic, but I did add a bit of truth into what I said.
I mean "Faith" and "Hope" are just names, but calling them "Retarded" isn't the right word for saying it's a horrible name.
