To be fair Communism does work on paper. However, people are immoral and prone to corruption which is why it falls on it's arse a lot of the time.

Hence why communism fails. You just answered your own question. Power corrupts and a government with absolute power is capable of anything. The amount of nations that collapsed because of communism is proof of that.

I like to think that I'm fairly well rounded when it comes to politics. I know I'm definitely a little further on the Libertarian side than the Authoritarian side as far as social issues, which I'm perfectly fine with, but I like to be pretty in the middle with economics.
My political efficacy is non-existent.
