Well, it was a good run. I didn't expect to even make it in, so I exceeded my own expectations at least. I don't think I'll be trying this next year, metal can't compete with 'real music'.... :PHey don't look at it that way. If that was the case you wouldn't have been chosen among the top 32 from almost 200 artists.
I haven't reviewed your track yet but I'll have you know I think it's a big improvement from your Round 1 track. Your new approach to making music seriously worked well. And to be honest we need more metal in the NGADM. Please come back :c.
But yeah haha great job making it this far.
Maybe there should be, but honestly I don't like competitions. Music is subjective, so no one can really say what's better or not. Someone might enjoy my music more than Bosa's per se, but that doesn't mean I'm better, or vice versa. I write what I'd like to hear, and what I think is great might be terrible to someone else's ears. If someone likes my tunes, that's all I need. I don't need to win a competition to feel good about myself, or my music. This is just something I do in my spare time. I've got a band that I'd like to focus on more because playing music live is way better than having headaches over volume levels and tones.. :P
