Ngadm '12: Round 3

After much anticipation, I present to you the Round 3 thread of the Newgrounds Audio Deathmatch (NGADM). Never heard of the NGADM? Go here. Signing up isn't advisable, considering the Sign Ups closed over a month ago. This thread marks the end of Round 2 and the beginning of Round 3.

The scores list below contains a list of all the pairings of Round 2, each judge's score on the individual submissions, and the winner of the pairing. This round had some purely amazing submissions, and the general overall quality of submissions was higher than that of Round 1 in most regards. The Bosa vs RampantMusik pairing was a very close pairing, with only 0.03 points difference in the averages.

After those scores, during the 2 weeks of Round 3, the judges will be working on posting reviews on your submissions' Newgrounds pages. These reviews will explain the scores you were given and will appear whenever the judges finish them (some are already finished!), so keep an eye out for the incoming reviews!

But first, rules:

1.) Do NOT ask why you were given a particular score in this thread. The review will be posted on your song in due time. If you've got something to say to a particular judge, do it via PM.

2.) Please wait until everything is posted before posting yourself. By everything, I mean results and pairings. It may take up more than one post.

3.) Any Round 3 submissions go in this thread. Do not use older threads.

4.) PMs will be sent notifying everyone of this thread. If you have already seen this thread and then receive a PM, disregard what it says in the PM.

5.) Read the RULES again. You never know, you might have missed something.

Also, thanks to RampantMusik for compiling an ongoing song list and Artist-Lost once again for making the fantastic logo you see below. Seriously, check out his art and perhaps give it a review! He really does deserve it.

Also, thanks to Breed, Step, Buoy, BrokenDeck, Back-From-Purgatory and SkyeWintrest for working very hard on judging your submissions and driving everyone nuts in the Round 2 thread. I will be scoring OpenLight's track for this round as Breed forgot to hand in that particular score.

I was telling my brother that there was no way I'd make it to the top ten. Probably not even the top 16. I'm very relieved and happy regardless of what happens from here on.

wow yay made it! good show blackhole12, it was a close one!
looking back at my tune, and listening to it on the buss today on the way home, i found it really predictable, stale and boring. and the way i used the basslines and structured my melodies reminds of my music from 2008. and i had this urgent feeling of "oh crap, this is not gonna do at all" so lol, glad i made it in! i will definatly break my own limits this time around and make something ive never done before, and settle for nothing less than perfect.

Hey don't look at it that way. If that was the case you wouldn't have been chosen among the top 32 from almost 200 artists.

I haven't reviewed your track yet but I'll have you know I think it's a big improvement from your Round 1 track. Your new approach to making music seriously worked well. And to be honest we need more metal in the NGADM. Please come back :c.
