It wasn't until an embarrassingly old age that I finally realized that the company who placed the "Call within 10 minutes" Ad didn't actually have some giant clock up on their wall which counted down from 10 minutes and restarted whenever the commercial aired again.

Though I'm sure that there are full-fledged adults out there who are sprinting to their telephones each time a "Call within the next 3 minutes" commercial comes on.

I always love to call one minute after the "clock" expires and I play along up until they ask for my credit card. Then I say "Oh shit, I called eleven minutes later. Well don't worry buddy, I caught it for you." Then I hang up.
