Progress on this, mostly using glazing and dry brush

I have to say the top left one with the white sky and white bird but shade in valley look best in my opinion (in terms to contrast).

I'd pick front left.

Id say the top left one, with the white bird and the dark chasm walls. The strong bright-dark contrast create a tense composition.
Btw, really like your dry brush style.
Chose the one yall liked, now doing a study before the big thing
Talking to Ota is kinda inspiring and motivating he's got a ton of interesting stories

I had the fortune of going to a private beach, spent some of the time painting, most of it getting drunk, and the rest of the time drunk painting.
Who is the hunter?
Prelim sketch for a painting I want to do involving lots and lots of mirrors, I might have to just buy a billion mirrors and lay em out to get a good reference

Lots of atmosphere in this one, I like it! What makes the moon have that odd shape?

To be honest I was pretty wasted by the time I started doing the lighter bits, I think its because I couldn't hold the brushes well. I'm thinkin of continuing that painting and finishing it this week

ooooh, haha, well it looks nice anyway. I thought it was some weird effect by the moonlight reflecting on the clouds or something like that since it looks intentional.
Progress of that one painting, finished the study now I'm painting the...painting

Haven't been drawing or painting due to band rehearsals but here's a doodle, went to my teacher's gallery and I fell in love with this artist named Andrew Hemm
Who is the hunter?
Finally started using colors, and boy is it difficult, the technique that my teacher has us doing makes a lot of sense, hopefully I can practice on a few scrap bits of illustration board for more experience before our final.

Continuing to work with traditional stuff, its tough for me to lay down enough pigment to start to get really vibrant. I dunno why I just feel apprehensive about it.
Here's something I did just to play around with colors a bit

It looks do pretty with those paint dots thingy. The colors feel like it could be vibrant but it's not vibrant enough D:
Are you still working on it?

If I'm a real artist I can't imagine what level all those people who have developed their skills much further than me would be considered!
