Haven't seen a thread about this so i thought i'd share.

What are your thoughts on this notice?

Seems a decent enough idea to me, people are constantly saying "subscribe to my YT channel" on non-youtube sites and perhaps this can help expand NGs web presence. Then again do you think if you shared this link outside of NG to a non-newgrounder they would bother signing up just to follow you?

Perhaps it's more af an intra-site thing.

I don't like having owner-specific junk show up on my page either (I like seeing what the public sees) but we wanted to give this the old college try and make sure people were aware of it. Also it's pink like the heart you click the follow people. :P

Only time will tell if this helps... So many sites have cannibalized NG with follow links, maybe we can win a few people in our direction for once. Plus we want people to be more aware of the follow feature because it's really great, I enjoy the stuff in my personal feed every day and like to follow some of the more obscure game developers who never show up in the daily awards.
