Helloooooooooooooooooo Newgrounds!
I've been drawing for a while now, but I seem to fail at getting feedback for some reason.
I am mainly at DA and I upload my adult things to FA, but I never get anything but a random fave and the other artist I kind of talk with just tell me that it's nice and that they like it, which I really appreciate, but I'd like to hear more than that. As an artist, it's my goal to constantly improve and I don't feel like I can do it when people are just nice to me. So I came here in the hopes of actually getting some feedback.

You're free to say whatever you like, but I'm mainly here to get constructive criticism and perhaps a commission or two.

I mainly do Mass Effect fan art, which I really enjoy, but I'm trying to do more of my own imagination because I'd like to be known as more than "that crazy person who draws salarians in awkward positions."

The composition is pretty good, but I'm not a fan of the shading.
Are you using the burn tool?

Hmmm you like those Salarians a lot I see. The broad dark borders around the faces look cool and so does the coloring. Just need to work on the shading like jonny mentioned.

You should post more stuff like this. I think your weird alien designs are vastly more interesting and would help this thread a lot. Also never heard of this "FA".

No, I don't. This is done with an online photo editor. But these are pretty old, I was waiting until I could post again to show newer things, because I did change my shading style. It's not the same as the pictures above anymore. Thank you for your input :)

As I mentioned above, my shading already changed, and since you saw my alien designs, you've probably already seen what I mean with that.

Also, I'm still working on my alien designs. They take a while to draw up because at the same time, I'm writing the story and I'm quite busy with other things as well. I'm glad you like them tough and you'll definitely see more of them.

FA is fur affinity. It's a furry community, but I post my adult art there because it's not allowed on DA and since the majority of my art involves aliens, it fits on that site. There's an alien subsection as well so..
