Sure it is. I enjoy the dub, and I'm not alone in doing so. Whatever faults the earlier episodes have, the actresses get loads better as it goes on. But you wouldn't know that would you?

The thing I hate most about a lot of dubbed anime is the voices. The anime that I think has the best English voice acting is Death Note.

Could be a mix of all of the above. I think it's the voices, mostly -- one gets used to hearing the Japanese voices when they watch the original version, so the dubbed never really matches that first impression.
