I usually wear contacts but I actually just ordered this sexy beast.

Glasses are heavy and clunky. They pinch your nose, and leave "impressions" from the nosepieces on the sides of your nose, and the eyeglasses themselves leave permanent "glasses" marks, even when you take them off (you can always tell a glasses wearer, even without their glasses on, just from the way the skin under their eyes is always "puffed" from the glasses).

I used to wear them myself, and after a week of irritation, pinching, and that puffiness under the eyes, I broke the damn things and decided to switch to contacts.

You seem to have had a really bad frame then. I've never had any issues with my glasses at all. Well maybe when I was first getting used to the sensation of wearing them. But never felt any irritation or pinching and I certainly don't know what you mean by puffiness.

Sorry they sucked for you, you must have been unlucky in your choosing of glasses, but at least contacts works for you.

Actually my mom picked the glasses for me. I didn't want to have anything to do with them (already was short for my age, add glasses and I would be totally picked on), so that's probably why she chose the worse ones, to "teach me a lesson".

My glasses are so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them, even though I'm not quite used to them yet just got them today). You had some bad frames dude. Get your glasses at Costco, they make sure that they fit right, and I don't really think the fitting affects the price because mine were only $70.

I actually don't like wearing my glasses when I'm on the computer. I'm near-sighted so I rarely wear them inside my house where nothing is too far away from me anyway. So I'm too lazy to take a picture of myself because I don't want to fetch my glasses :P

You're lucky. Some of us don't see very well at all without glasses. Though some of us are luckier than others and actually look okay with glasses on. But you are correct, glasses FTW.

I have bad luck with glasses. I cannot see at all and so I am not very good at choosing glasses. Plus I never have anyone with me that could give me a good opinion. So then I am stuck with these glasses I hate. I only once had a decent pair and those frames broke.

So in short glasses suck. At least for me.

I am not even going to post a picture of me wearing them because they are top big and they look ridiculous. Unfortunatly I cant get very far without them on.

That sucks. I got lucky on my choice and I really like them; I just hope I don't break them anytime soon. Your glasses look good from the picture though.
