I really don't regret going to college instead of sixth form. My mates are all bricking it, I'm going to a house party to celebrate/mourn results tomorrow, I'll try not to be too smug.

No guarantees though.

i was an AL candidate in 2010.

the three AL subjects that i have took: AL pure math, AL physics, AL chemistry.
and the AS subjects were: chinese language and culture, use of english.

you shouldn't be too worried about your AL result. there is always a second chance ^3^

Can someone explain what the level grades are? Is it just A-B-C-D-E-F as per the norm? I live in the UK but I did all my exams in Australia.

Somebody told me they got an E and was happy with it, are they just really stupid or is E 'Excellent' or something?

good luck guys

They probably go to Hogwarts, where E stands for 'Exceeds Expectations'.

It is a really good mark for a young witch or wizard to get so no wonder they were happy with it.

That would be awesome and sexy but alas, I royally fucked up my school years and never got the grades I needed to go onto doing A levels and such. So, I'll be a minimum wage earner for life probably.

wait wut

they don't have community colleges over there or something? in america, if you fuck up in high school, community college offers you a second chance to attend the university of your dreams

community college classes are college-level and transfer. they're also cheaper and community colleges have an open enrollment policy(which means you can't possibly be rejected if you apply)

of course community colleges don't guarantee that you'll attend a good college or university but they give you another chance. they did for me; i fucked up in high school and turned around in community college

don't they have something like community college in the UK?

good luck guys

if you are refering to the AL exams in UK, then basically,
A=average
B=bad
C=crap
D= death

considering the level of difficulty of the exams.

you need to achieve at least 2A's to have a decent chance of getting into good schools.
