I have completed the first Dead Space game, and am ready for Impossible mode.
My question is this, if I load my GAME COMPLETE save, and start over on that (it automatically brings you to chapter 1 by loading that save), am I on Impossible mode automatically?
I am trying to Platinum this game, so I a curious if I am on the proper difficulty automatically, or if I messed up and should have pressed New Game.
Anybody have any ideas?
I'm fairly sure you need to select new game when you save your game the file will let you know what difficulty you're on anyway, but make sure to save in a different slot. IIRC, there's a bug where if you load game right after beating it the option for impossible mode disappears, at least if you still have the file you'll just need to beat the last boss again instead of replaying the whole thing.
Although if you want a platinum you'll need to play through it at least twice on the same file anyway, to get enough nodes to max everything.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. That really does suck, so I guess I will need a total of three playthroughs in order to beat the game. Or two and a half. Not bad really, it is a pretty easy game to platinum by the looks of it... Just time consuming is all.

You spelled "Line Gun" wrong.
That was a great post. Right Zach?
