Guns don't kill people. Bullets do.
If you read the actual article you'd see that Obama was actually saying that hardworking people will always have help along the way from other hardworking people. It was just poor wording.

You didn't read that! Photons from your computer screen gave your brain the information!

Sounds like a bad meme in the making

Guns don't kill people, death kills people. Ask a doctor, it's a medical fact. You can't die from a bullet. You can die from a cardiac arrest or organ failure or a major hemorrhage, small piece of metal ain't the problem.
Guess what game that is from.
You didn't quote mine that quote.
I couldn't finish the joke because the comments on that article gave me cancer.
cocks.
You want us to pretend we're stupid enough to misinterpret a very clearly worded speech delivered by the President of the most powerful nation on Earth about community and the shared responsibility for individual successes.
Why?
No, really, why?
I want to know what you've actually done in your life that qualifies you to warp the words of any President elect.

I see nothing wrong with what he said beyond his very poor wording of it.
What he should have said was 'If you've got a business - you didn't build that alone. Someone else helped make it happen.'
Then it would have fit with the rest of what he said.

Nice defense mechanism, Bro.
Feeling threatened by my aggressively honest nature?
Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet
Bullshit, I refuse to believe "government research" created the internet. And I know for a fact it wasn't created so that "all the companies could make money off the internet!" Back in the early days of the internet hardly anyone was making money off the fucker except companies that provided the service.

But political jokes aren't funny.
So you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when in Egypt your bosom was caressed and your young breasts fondled.
I don't know why everyone's up in arms over these comments, since he's correct.

Considering all the political BS in the states and the shit media, do you really not know why?
I can't wait for this election season to end.

Of course, the internet was created by the government solely to produce profit for companies. You're sure full of yourself yurgenburgen.

The U.S. government was responsible for the internet, though. It was a tool used by the CIA to communicate with each other and share information. It was eventually made available to the public because of its potential for helping education and economic growth and technological advancement and so on.

Even in your own post you are saying against Obama's own words, it was created by the government only to produce profit for companies. That's bullshit, and to be frank, pisses me off. I personally know individuals who aided to the development of the internet and both hardware as well as software in its earliest stages to how we know it today.
Even beyond that single ludicrous statement, it takes individuals who are willing to take risk in order to create successful companies. There are people who put their family's income on the line in order to create these businesses for you and me. The first memory that comes to my mind is a CEO who was being interviewed and asked if he felt greedy for how big his salary was. His response was that he was the only employee for over a decade. That man built that business himself. To say otherwise is to make a bastard of yourself.
These individuals who create businesses for you and me deserve respect. They take risks average people would never consider. And more often than not, those who take these risks go nowhere, but gain a nice hefty sum of debt.
You know that large conglomerate you are a board member of?
You didn't build that, your workers who make 300 times less than you did.
The joke is that this was the actual intended point of that statement. Lolotics.
Zeppelyn: Since when does the bladder control the "poo poo"?
convict357: Um, you mean you f*ck chickens, turkeys are male chickens.

I have a friend of a friend who knew Salvador Dali. Big deal.

You honestly think that every resource he used to form that business was built from scratch by himself with absolutely no input or assistance from any other person or organisation?
These individuals who create businesses for you and me deserve respect.
I don't recall disputing that.
They take risks average people would never consider.
That is incredibly patronising since the average person would not have the opportunity to gamble with large sums of money in the first place.
You didn't misinterpret this statement denouncing selfishness and greed.
Fox News took it out of context and attacked it constantly to make it seem like the President doesn't believe that people have ingenuity or the desire to succeed. Let's ignore the fact that he's a self-made millionaire who is just acknowledging all the people in his life who helped him get to where he is, or the vast amount of benefits that you as an American citizen are entitled to just because you exist here, and is suggesting that other people do the same. No, instead of heeding this otherwise great advice, let's just shit on him.

That's not even close to the same thing. Even more over, you're not related to the individual in question. At this point I'm more than certain you're just trolling. Either that or just stupid, so I'll just hope it's the former.
wow, seriously? republicans are still being dishonest about what Obama actually said in that speech?
jeez, it's almost like they live in their own version of reality, or something.
well, at least going the respond to people who point out that i'm spreading falsehoods with a "LOL U MAD U MAD XDDD" route is a slight step up from going into severe meltdown mode like the OP of this topic did when it was pointed out that he was being dishonest about what Obama said.

Only someone who was never successful on their own would assume that those who did succeed.. must have had some help. Maybe they are just moronic failures? NahâEU¦. must be because they didnâEUTMt get a fair shake .. a helping hand like everyone else. Sounds like victim mentality to meâEU¦
Apparently becoming the president of a major world power doesn't constitute success.
