So after changing my username and being disgusted with my old art thread, I figured now was a good time to start a new one.

Starting off with super loose super relaxing morning sketches of a character of mine. Like always, i'm currently kinda in between styles, but I really like how these came out. I think i'll try to refine the style some and see whether or not I wanna stick with it.

I was in South Carolina for the weekend and installed photoshop and tablet drivers specifically so that if I were awake when everyone else was asleep I could draw, since right now i'm pretty much nocturnal. Of course it happened. And of course I left my tablet pen at home.

But now i'm back and working on a big project so I took a break to relax and returned to my horrible 5 year old habit of drawing Spongebob.

Lol what is style consistency

Not a big fan of this one. It had been coming out perfectly, by far my most realistic drawing, when my computer bluescreened and I restarted because I refused to accept that it was gone. So this is the second attempt, and not nearly satisfying compared to the first.

same character from OP post by the way, I just don't know how to stick with 1 style.

I don't think its shitty at all. They look excellent! I love the facial expressions you put into your drawings. I always feel like it gives it "feeling" to the drawing. It also captures a personality. You've definitely given your drawings feeling and a personality.

Probably needs some more contrast with the skin tone. Looks just a bit more gray than the normal tone atm.

Anyways, I redid an old picture that I used to really like of my Fable 2 character. Dangerous amounts of music were listened to in the process.

Referenced doodle. I don't think I have much of a knack for realism, maybe because whenever I draw full lips they make the person look like a hooker, but i'm fairly satisfied with the semi-realism thing I did here.

I accidentally posted 2 pictures at the same angle with the same perspective in a row and the repetition of it disgusts me so now I gotta throw in some random so-so study block doodles.

A friend of mine asked me to draw Clint Eastwood like a month ago so I got to it ASAP because I was bored and wanted to dick around with lighting.

This thread had a really crappy start, I hope it doesn't scare people away.

I'm ashamed to say that was the finished product because I didn't know what else I could really do, seeing as how i'm not very good at coloring at the moment. I might go back and redo it one day if I learn to digitally paint worth shit or something. They're not original characters by the way, it's fanart for the Mass Effect games.

I don't draw women very often, that's yet another thing on the "shit I need to practice" list, along with legs, feet, color, and backgrounds. I wanted to practice over the summer but I ended up doing a lot of reading about anatomy with very little actual practice. So some fine ladies ought to show up in this thread sooner or later, just as soon as I can draw them well enough to show other people.

Also i'm not sure if you're joking or not, but either way I don't think he's gonna lose his hand in the show. It'd be a hassle for the crew over a fairly small plot point.
