I see your point, but it's basically the community's choice. I love Shadling, but moreso for his comic book style and action-y stuff rather than his hentai, but if everybody upvotes it, I think that's their choice.

I'm fine if you like Shad's art. I don't particularly care either, but this is the section "Best Art". He's got ALL 12 spots.
Not a single other artist is qualified for earning one of those spots? If you want Shadgrounds, we've already got the 'Popular' segment. Let's have at least 1 place open for variety.

Although I felt A Tale Of Colours should have been in the Top 5 instead of 60s Burger Run. Don't get me wrong i enjoyed both games, but I felt A Tale Of Colours was better....

the entire art portal featured art is all that that seems to be now.. is tits. There isn't even a point of uploading anything else because tits win every time..

you might as well just rename it to the tit portal. It seems to changed around the redesign.. I remember going to the art portal and seeing quality art after quality art and beaming.. thinking "THIS is how an art portal should be!"

They went when the '07 redesign launched, however, during that design, some still appeared inthe "Adult Features" collection. They all seem to be gone now though.

With the redesign they added the popular art thing and gave it a much more prominent place. You used to just see the new art, which still has really great stuff.

I agree about him doing a good job. Despite that its about the nudity i pay special attention to how he creats the backgrounds and such to. Amazing style.

How ever there are plenty of people doing fantastic jobs on this site but their art goes unnoticed now.

Did you even read or think before posting? I don't hate Shadman. He's capable of okay stuff. But if this gets a Best Art place instead of this, that's where I have a problem.

As I said; There's a POPULAR art section for a reason. That's where popular shit goes. Shadman's art is not the BEST art. It's mediocre compared of some other far more gorgeous things Newgrounds has to offer.

All these drawings I just linked are all with a quick glance through the New Art. Just take a look at some of it and tell me that's not worthy of a Best Art title. Does that mean Shadman's stuff is to be shunned? Hell no, there's a place for everything, but this juvenile bullshit's been going on for ages. Put aside the lube and show some other hard-working artists some goddamn respect. You really want this site to drab in the porn culture forever?
