Has anyone downloaded the free trial for Scaleform Mobile? IâEUTMm curious how it compares to AIRâEU¦

Yeah, we've tried the trial and are very happy with it. The footprint (= data it adds to your game for Scaleform to work) is much smaller than AIR and we've gotten better results with Scaleform.

Here's a few downsides that you need to keep in mind: To enable sound you currently need an FMOD license, they go for $500 to $2,000. They're working together with FMOD to include it in the Scaleform license but that's not round yet.

Second, your device needs at least OpenGL ES 2.0 or higher, older devices might have version 1.1 and it's not going to work on that.

Third, it's very early in development and you might run into some bugs. Just report them on their forums, they're very helpful.

That's about it :) It's great software, just has some problems it needs to solve.
