Manga Ideaaaaahhh!

I have an idea on a manga and need some feedback NOW! just kidding it can be whenever but back on topic. My manga is going to be about two boys Rex and Terry, Rex is a 16 year old boy and Terry is a 13 year old boy. And the both have super stregth Rex has super speed and is pyrokinetic and Terry has flight and is electrokinetic. They both grew up in a wasteland/rain forest off the coast of an empty continent on Earth Next with only 3 major cities. A little knowledge on Earth next is that it is the same earth were on but 500 years after a cosmic wave hit making 40 percent of earths lifeforms mutate and genes become changed explaining the ten foot gorilla and the growing of earth causing extra land masses to grow making earth the biggest planet in our solar system. They grew up fighting with rhinos and ten foot tall gorillas all there life for fun unknowingly actually training in the martial arts. The boys have only been two the outside world a few times but don't know anything about themselves but that they grew up all there lives in the wild but when one day a girl from a large metropolitan city comes there in search of a mystical cave there lives change into a grand adventure forever.

It seems like it could potentially be pretty cool! I'd go as light on exposition as possible. Just throw the reader right into the deep end with the giant gorillas and whatnot. If it's a matter-of-fact everyday part of the show's universe, it doesn't need to be verbally explained.

Actually, now that I think of it if these two kids have spent their whole lives growing up in the wild, they probably can't speak any coherent human language, right? You could get some mileage out of that in their interactions with the girl, with their communication barriers getting played alternately for drama and laughs. Maybe one of them is a faster learner than the other and the other brother gets jealous, I dunno, little things like that.

Also, their powers seem like they might be too similar, when they should complement each other. Hell, do they even need to have superpowers at all? Maybe one of them is just stronger and more athletic while the other is smarter and better at building whatever tools and traps and little Gilligan's Island contraptions they need to survive. The more vulnerable your characters are, the better the suspense and action will be (especially in a survival story, which this seems to be, at least at first).
