Shows you devour

Sometimes I'll catch wind of a TV show or movie series or something that's really expansive in the media entertainment world. And I'll spend my free time watching it extensively.

Right now I'm tuck on Breaking Bad, but that's nothing really.

Try watching all of Stargate SG1 from Season one till the end, now that's a long time spent watching TV shows. I didn't even skip the episodes I'd seen already.

So has anyone here gotten stuck on a show or movie or something? Stargate and Breaking Bad I watched on my computer, so that kind of facilitated my addiction.

I use to watch so much television... I don't know if I've become jaded, my tastes have changed or if tv is shit nowadays but with our satellite television and over 600 channels i cannot find a single thing worthy of my time.

The exception being when a classic movie is on.

I was stuck on Doctor Who a while ago, but I caught up on that pretty quickly. I recently got into Game of Thrones, which I'm still like three episodes away from being finished, but I've taken a break from it to check out Breaking Bad. I'm on like season 2 currently.

I'll agree with you on Breaking Bad, I watched it nonstop on Netflix for a week and got caught up.
I also did it with the Walking Dead, comic and TV series wise.

For some reason I can never really commit myself to watching the entirety of TV shows with multiple seasons and lots of episodes. I once did it for Scrubs, but while it only has 20 minutes episodes, it took me one-and-a-half years before I finally made it from start to finish.

Since then I've mostly watched mini series since they require far less time/commitment and I kinda like how they tend to tell one full story rather than having episodic/seasonal plots.

Anyway, one show that I actually did "devour" is Band of Brothers. I watched the whole show in one night with some friends. It was great. Another show I've watched quite a lot lately is Doctor Who (went through the Matt Smith seasons).

I watched every episode of Band of Brothers one day when I was sick.

Whenever The First 48 is on, I must watch it. Same thing with Holmes Inspection.

But my big addiction has been Doctor Who. And that includes the classic series.

I don't follow TV shows like twats do, but I think the last one that I got hooked on over on Netflix was either South Park or School Rumble. Earlier, I did completely devour Trigun since I never watched it before.
