Animation test Jul. 27th, 2012 @ 01:27 PM Reply

Here's an animation test I've been working on, took about 4 hours to animate. Constructive criticism is always appreciated. http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/c6e7bb41f53fce3cd26ca44d 723a012b

the arms and the movements are a bit strange, also the buttons of his jacket are missing in the frames where he fight that ghost-mage thingies (also you forgot to color his arms and leg in the last frames, lol), anyway you made that in four hours, so good job.

Tumbleweed not rolling, just bouncing up and down. Actually make it rotate and have more smooth like this:

And the clouds at the end, make them move.

Yeah I'd say the arms. Your character seems like he has no elbows so he has to swing them in one direction. Also the lightning bolt could be drawn better.

Lightning bolt was bad. Try using a 50% opacity on it?

Add an "anticipation", like, when you throw a punch you have to charge it by leaning back a little and then BANG!
Also, the background's outlines should be thinner and not that black, plus add a blur effect so that the characters can stand out more.
