I am currently using CS4, and I seem to have everything I need for creating animation: hotkeys all optimized, extensions installed, workspace organized. The question is: is it even worth considering CS6?
From what I've seen so far, Adobe doesn't give a shit about animators - nearly every single Flash version offered a bunch of improvements for coders and not animators.
So.. is CS6 even worth it?

http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/buying-guide-version-com parison.html That's a list of everything new is on it. The main things will be listed below.
Sprite Sheet Generation
That's about it on the animator side. Everything else is like a new HTML5 update or Adobe AIR or Flex or something.

So I guess in other words: nothing worth for animators. I can't believe that they keep selling their crap by adding a few features (which should have been there in a normal update) and giving it a brand new name CS<number>. And tbh I haven't seen any animation features being improved for years. It's like they don't give a shit about animators and only implement code-related features.
I'll stick with CS4 then

I never used it but I heard It auto resizes all your objects when you resize the stage. I thought that was quite neat and much easier than resizing everyting with the "edit multiple frame" option.
Currently doing short rough animations here http://khanhcpham.deviantart.com/

Doesn't sound like worthy enough features to upgrade an entire application. I can't even import my keyboard shortcuts from CS4. See topic: http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1312804
