My mom just embarrassed me

We were at a KFC ordering lunch, and she looks over the counter, sees 2 grease spot, while the worker is trying to get the credit card to work.

One of the workers said out food was gonna come late (2 more minutes), then that they were out, then that it was ready, them my mom started cussing out every worker, and screaming about a 1-800 line so she can report the restaurant

This rant went on for 5 minutes until she stormed out, having wasted 10 bucks because they "couldn't" figure out how to give her money back.

Question is, would you do the same thing with anyone but you present, even more so, with your, or someone else's child present?

It's a fast food joint. There are going to be grease spots. It doesn't necessarily mean that the place is unsanitary or unhealthy. Granted, if it's a fast food joint, it probably is unhealthy, but that's another story.

I worked in fast food, so i understand their plight about not getting orders out as fast as they would like to. To warrant me yelling at them the way the OP's mother did, they would have to fuck up at a pretty big level.

I wouldn't do the same thing at all. I used to work at KFC. People who order to KFC are fucking nuts, and they put some crack or something in that damn chicken to make the people who order there insane in the first place.

Most places like that have their machines set up so that the workers require a manager's password or whatever before you can refund to a credit card. It stops young people from accidentally clicking away hundreds of dollars by accident or whatever.

I rarely ever have cash on me and find it much easier to keep track of my expenses if I can see it all online on my bill. Also when I do use cash it seems to take longer than it does to use a credit card. I don't see the big deal.
