Downloadable games are of convenience to the buyers, and although I enjoy owning a physical copy of my games, I also have no problem purchasing a digital copy from steam. I don't understand your ramblings, OP. You're rambling about MMORPG's? Those are the only Downloadable games that require a monthly fee. Other games just have expansions and DLC.
Unless Skynet or the Illuminati happens, I'm sure that our digital purchases are safe.
Maybe not on Origin though, I would never trust that shit.

Can we have a petition to get EA to fuck off? They wrecked ME3 and I want to see them pay for it.

I remember I had to sign up with EA online so that I can play the dead space 2 demo. So friggin bull.

What did EA do to Mass Effect 3? ME3 has a ton of problems, but I don't see how they're the fault of the publisher.

Oh noes, you had to sign up for a free service in order to play a free demo. Clearly a sign of the end times.

EA forced Bioware to rush out the game. If Bioware had their way, they would have released the game next year. They just didn't have time to make a good ending for the game.
in order to stop the problem that you mentioned about logging on the internet in order to play a single player game, well, we'd have to stop pirating games

The ending was the least of the game's problems, IMO.
But that's besides the point. If you look at the release dates (and consider the fact that ME3 began development shortly before ME2 was released), you'll see that ME3 was in development slightly longer than ME2 was.
ME3 wasn't rushed. BioWare just goofed.

but we could go further, they could stop charging for games and instead, put ingame advertisements, that way they could stop doing all they bullshit to "fight piracy" that should be the real future of gaming
People are annoyed even from ads on websites and you think they will be ok with this. Also by that companies will have a standard profit in every game.Which means they won't care to make games better.
yes they would, because bad games are usually played by less people and therefor, they would have less and cheaper sponsors, like in tv programs, sport teams, etc
Its only rape if you say no.
Say no to rape.

In the Future I see two gaming companies. One that sells out to advertisers and appeals to people who's time is worth waiting through ads VS Another whom will make games for people who deem the price worthy for games without interruption/in-game ads.
