Forum posts disappearing

I'm getting really tired of logging on after a day of not using Newgrounds and finding out that several of my posts have been deleted.

Vanishing.... just gone.

But this is getting to be a bit ridiculous.

Yesterday, I had 7,079 posts, and today I'm at 7,066.

Do I really have to start archiving my post history in order to see what is being deleted so that I can bring this to an admin's attention?

I feel that this is unjust.

Why are my posts being deleted?

I feel that this is happening to me almost on a weekly basis, and I'm going to get to the bottom of this.

Nobody is hand picking old posts of yours or anyone else's and randomly deleting them. What's happening is that rather high-profile users with thousands of posts (and many threads) are getting their accounts deleted probably by request, and with their accounts, their posts and threads (as well as everyone's posts in those threads) get deleted too. Nothing to worry about.

Honestly whoever is the moderator that's deleting half of your guys posts is probably for a good reason.

liljim has a script that automatically culls useless threads from the BBS with some regularity. It affects ALL users, and it's not the moderators because we only have permission to remove threads and posts that are less than 720 hours old. I quite like it, because I don't really want to go over 12k posts and the script has allowed me to come back and participate on the BBS a few times now despite hitting 11999.
