Gotta agree, Spidey's probably the best all-round, not-insanely-overpowered superhero of all time. Plus he trolls his enemies during a fight which is always entertaining.

The thing is though, he kind of IS superly overpowered. He's got super strength to rival a few people, but he constantly pulls his punches and holds back, he is as smart as Banner or Stark (Not quite Pym or Richards territory but that's no shame) and do I even need to mention his spider sense? When you consider him altogether he is a bit OP but he still comes off as just a guy, which is a great credit to anyone who writes him well.

Man, most of my favorite comic heroes (John Constantine, Jesse Custer, Golgo 13) don't have superpowers so they don't qualify to be superheroes.
