Basically the title says it all. Have you ever gone to another country, maybe to visit relatives or just to check out some historical places or perhaps to spend a vacation?
I've travelled quite a lot, all thanks to my fathers job. Originally being from Russia - I've been to Egypt, Chile, and Bosnia and Hercegovina (in the past, part of Yugoslavia). I don't count the countries where've I been only to the airport, due to connecting flights.
Honestly, travelling is pretty fun. Specially when you get to stay at the destination you've travelled to for a while. Getting in touch with the locals and their culture is really cool and interesting.
So anyways, you turn, guys

I've never really been abroad. I've been to Canada a few times, and Puerto Rico twice, and that's it for being outside of America, well Puerto Rico is also part of the US so I've only been to Canada as a foreign country.

I've been to Costa Rica on vacation once. I didn't like the touristy areas very much; I thought that the local towns were more interesting to explore, even though seeing the poverty of some of the people there made me feel weird about using that country as a vacation spot. Well, it's not like I saw anyone starving but the standard of living was low compared to the US. The best part was a wildlife preserve, which was run by only one woman and her husband. We were the only people there so we got a personal tour. There was an anteater there and it licked my hand. There were very few people on the beaches which was also a plus, the closest people to us there were hundreds of feet away.

I've been to Poland, France, Spain and the UK. All of those are no problem getting to, since the borders are virtually non-existant. You just need a normal ID card, which you are supposed to have anyway.
I also traveled to the USA once, but I don't know that much about that anymore, since I was very young.
Last year, I traveled to Singapore, which was a bit more difficult. You need a passport, which you have to apply for at an office and which takes about one month to be "produced". Then you have to fill in various forms (Where are you from, what is the last city you where at before traveling to Singapore, which is the next city you travel to after you leave the country, where are you staying....) to get in. At least you get some nice stamps in your passport.
While staying in Singapore I also visited Malaysia for a few hours. It's even more difficult to travel there from Singapore than traveling to Singapore from Europe. A few more forms, endless hallways, border checks, customs... but at least I can say, that I have been to Malaysia.
My next travel destinations are Canada and Japan.
