Not all dubbed Anime is bad, however most of the ones I grew up with were fucked over by the people who dubbed them since they figured instead of just doing the necessary stuff to make the anime passable by American standards they rewritten the entire anime's to where half of the lines don't make any since with the scenes, or in worse cases instead of not posting the anime at all because it is too violent butcher it and post it anyways.

But on a serious note flaming people who likes dubs over subs is just plain ignorant if you ask me.

Just for some clarification purposes, here's the difference between an Otaku and Weeaboo.

Otaku: In Japan, it's someone who is obsessed with a hobby, music or what have you. {i.e anime/manga otaku, idol otaku, even sports otaku if you can believe that.} Some of them have menial jobs in which they would spend their entire paycheck on their favorite goods and attend conventions, often cosplaying as their favorite character/idol. Everywhere else, it's simply a name for fans who like anime, depending on the person, it can be derogatory or a sign of pride, but it's usually in between those.

Weeaboo: Someone who obsesses about Japan and think that all they have there is samurai swords, pocky sticks and schoolgirls who are either lolis or are total sex objects, which in real life, is mostly inaccurate and/or romanticized. Chances are they are also obsessed with Japan's history and to go so far as to dismiss all of the crimes that Japan has done in the past {Rape of Nanking, or Pearl Harbor for example.} as nothing at all. I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that they would pull a reverse Suzaku Kururugi and try to enlist in the Japanese armed forces willingly, {even though they aren't Japanese} against the Americans in WW2.

Hopefully that clears that up.
