Can someone help with transitions?

i've been having trouble making a video lately because i haven't been able to do transition's properly. transition's such as someone opening a door, or throwing a ball, mostly arm movement's and face movement's.
also, i haven't been able to any good close up mouth movement's. it's pretty easy doing mouth movement from a distance, because it lack's details. but i'm confused as to how to do it close up. if someone know's any good tutorials, has a tutorial their self, or could show me one of their own example's i would greatly appreciate it.

are you having trouble trying to comprehend body movement as a whole? It takes practice. I suggest try looking gesture drawings or animations so you can practice mentally getting the pose from your mind. I quickly youtube a gesture animation with simple shapes here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3kPB30WkFQ. I usually do draw the key poses first than link them up. I tend to find any close ups need more frames and subtle antics are needed such as moving the face forward when its angry.
