So what happens when someone submits new content? Does the bottom ones get pushed off and never go pass judgment?
It just seems weird.

The one at the bottom of the recent submission can be seen in the other "under judgement" page though, so how does it work?

I'm just a bit confuzzled thats all.

We kind of need more voters....

There used to be a page listing all of the recent submissions - particularly used during big events like Clock Day or Madness Day, as there would usually be more than 50 submissions on the portal at once.

The one at the bottom of the recent submission can be seen in the other "under judgement" page though, so how does it work?

On the Under Judgement page, there are 51 submissions at the moment. Therefore more than there can be displayed on the portal. If the classic portal is full, fall back on the Under Judgement page, instead.

I'm just a bit confuzzled thats all.

If a submission from the first 50 passes judgement, those submissions before it will shuffle up, so that the UJ pieces are at the top. When these pieces pass judgement, they get back into order.

example
Five submissions, assume that they are all under judgement.

5
4
3
2
1

All displayed in Purple / Pink. Number 3 gets Blammed. Therefore, the sequence will look like this:

5
4
2
1

Let's assume that 4 is a recently submitted piece by a popular artist and passes judgement quickly. It gets shuffled out of the sequence, as 1, 2 and 5 are still UJ:

5
2
1
4

1 Passes judgement, while a new submission, 6 is submitted. The sequence changes to this:

6
5
2
4
1

1 has passed judgement and taken its place numerically among the protected. Since 2 has not, it remains in the UJ pile.

I hope you understand.

We need voters willing to vote correctly, as opposed to savewhores. Sure, there are plenty of submissions out there that deserve to be protected, but there are many getting through, which are shovelware, or just plain bad.

Shouldn't 1 and 4 be switched?

Yup
Thanks a lot. I figured something like that would happen.
I also forgot that the "Under Judgement" page divided movies and games, so I got very confused when I only saw 20 or so movies, but didn't consider the games.

Guess I'm still getting used to the new system ;D

Yeah. I remember Tom posting about shovelware a while ago.
Theres not a single game in the portal that doesn't have mochi-ads or a big ass link to some "free flash game" clone site, while the game itself is either 60 seconds long or some kind of tic tac toe bullshit.

This is why I don't like voting on games. It frustrates the hell out of me.
I can get a good laugh out of some silly spam flash to be honest, but a shitty game needs to have some kind of comedy value before it's right in my book, and most of them take it way too serious.

Oh man I could rant about this forever I think.

No, because 1 is the older submission than 4.

Think of it as the submission numbers. For example 502301 would be older than 502304, which could have come in a matter of seconds later.

Steady on, I've explained it, this does take some understanding.

Oh, I see. I always thought non-UJ submissions were ordered by when they got out of judgement.

No, by their submission number - go and check it out now, this is a perfect example, as two of them are these "never existed" links, at the bottom of UJ.
