I think the last game that I might be getting is Alpha Protocol. I heard it's...decent. The dialogue and choices are well thought out, choices and consequences much like that of The Witcher series, and customization. Everything else though...eh

Seems like there won't be any activities this year. It's a shame though, I've always enjoyed those.

Alan Wake is great and for whatever price it is, I'm sure it's worth it. Pretty decent story for a game there too.

Only bought two games so far, (One for my friend).

There isn't much else I particularly want but who knows. There are a couple more days left right?

That was a great post. Right Zach?

Was thinking of buying the longest journey. But I just won it in a give away. I hope it's just as good as it looks.

no, the mediorce story isn't worth the repetitive shitty gameplay. it'd be a better use of your time to watch twin peaks instead of playing alan wake because at least you get a decent writing

But I can't do that until a Blu-ray release. The recent Fire Walk With Me one was terrible, and there's none of the series yet.

Any game that can be mentioned in the same sentence as Twin Peaks is tempting.

Haven't own a 360 for a few years now, but the PS3 port is definitely on my radar.

Tycrane just gave me a guest pass for it, downloading now. I played the UT2004 mod ages ago, is this one still similar?

Welp, bought Far Cry 2 as well

Seriously, I'm only two hours into Far Cry 2 and it's a blast. The most of fun I've had in a FPS in awhile! The contrast between the dark tone of the setting and the crazy/hilarious moments during gunfights is quite odd I have to admit.

Once i got the hang of it, and understood the concept of fire=bad, it got insanely fun. I really enjoyed the Health system, and the whole buddy reviving stuff. Its a shame the online is mostly barren, and when you find a match its either lag hell, or aimbot galore.

I just bought Half Life 2 (+ Half Life 2: Lost Coast). Not a game that I was particularly interested in, but I heard so much about it over the years that I feel like I ought to give it a chance. It's only 4.50 euros at the moment anyway.

So that brings my total number of bought games up to five. I have to say that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was well worth the money. I already got around 50 hours out of the game and I haven't even bothered too much with the main quest line, nor the extra expansions that came with the game of the year edition. In fact, it feels like I haven't even seen a quarter of the game.

I bought Garry's Mod, sort of wish I'd have bought a different game though. Just don't like it, got bored after half an hour and I can't think of anything to do. Takes ages to load too, the only server I could get onto without waiting for 10 minutes was filled with kids spawnkilling everyone.

Since it wont be going on a deeper discount now I'm just going to get GalCiv2 for the 50% off it's going for now.

Tempted by the Stardock bundle, though. Anyone played Rebellion? Different enough for the original Sins to be worth the upgrade?

Welcome to Garry's Mod, that's the only thing that ever happens online, and it's really boring single player.

All the Prince Of Persia's are on sale for about 2.50$ each or 12$ for the whole group.

I would thoroughly recommend the Sands of Time or the newest Prince of Persia, they're both excellent games. Sands of Time being more action packed while Prince of Persia is more of a cell shaded story you go through.

You could always gift me it in exchange for sexual favors.
