well so far i've bought crusader kings 2 and the sword of islamd dlc and the max payne bundle.

crusader kings 2 is just much more different to the first crusader kings than i was expecting, it feels more like europa universalis 3 than the crusader kings that i remember. i guess i just need to sink some time into it to get used to it.

nothing else really that's interesting me

also, that second troll vote: brink, stronghold 3 and ghost recon something. lolololol

Well I've only bought two so far. Max Payne 3 and this indie game called Sideways that my friend recommended to me. I'm a sucker for platformers. Sideways is actually pretty good. Would definitely recommend if you like platformers. Also a buddy.

Contemplating about whether to get the Binding of Isaac dlc.

How can we do that if you don't put out your Steam name.

Because my Steam ID is the same as my id for everything, which is my username.

I bought Portal for 2.24 euros. Old game, I know, but it's something that I've always wanted to play and I figured I might as well pick it up now that it's on sale.

Another game I'm probably going to buy is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

it's insane, probably the biggest non mmo game i've seen. the funny thing is that it would probably take me longer to download the game than to actually play through it

I hate sales, I always end up spending too much...

Does anyone want to add me on Steam? I'm GallifreyDog, I've only got one friend.

I'm contemplating getting Star Wars Battlefront II or Sim City 4 Deluxe. Or maybe even KOTOR or Terraria. Or Garry's Mod. Or even the Valve collection. Argh so many games, so little money haha.

just noticed borderlands was one of the new daily deals. pretty cool, i've been wanting to play it for a long time. funny thing is that it costs £4.99 and the dlc pack costs £4.74, i almost bought both of them but the i noticed the game of the year edition was also on sale for £4.99 WITH the dlc. almost spent an extra £5

that makes £18 i've spent on sales now. woo

I'm thinking of buying it. But I don't know. I already have it on the ps3 with almost all of the dlc.

I picked up the Binding of Isaac DLC, realised it made the game harder when I couldn't beat it vanilla, and ragequit.

Also Tropico 4. Tropico 3 didn't like my PC for some reason and it was a real farce to make it run, but I enjoyed it despite the hassle. I hear 4 is basically the same but with Isla Nublar from Jurassic Park. SOLD.

It depends if you have buddies on the PC. I picked it up again on the PC, but only because I made new friends in college and we all played Borderlands on Steam. Love it!

Frozen Synapse for 2.49? I think I might take up that offer.
Already have Skyrim on Steam, but it's definitely worth the 29.79 due to the mods. Fun game.
Two Worlds II, I'll just say that it's a VAST improvement to the first one. Well it's playable for one thing. Playing as a mage is pretty kick ass. Pretty much the B-movie equivalent of an RPG.
Orcs Must Die, a hybrid third person shooter tower defense game. Pretty gun game, but you can always try out the demo.

I'm thinking about picking up Sonic Generations. I do like platformers and I enjoyed the demo. Never really played a sonic game before (was never interested).

They raised the price to $5, I might have bought it a 2.50 but I'll have to think about it more.

I couldn't justify buying Skyrim again, maybe when the price drops some more.

I played it for Xbox it was really lame haha, I had no idea what the hell was happening.

Sonic Generations was pretty good. I liked it, better than most Sonic games this generation. Final boss is the most bullshit ever conceived in a video game. The rest of the game is pretty fun.

Glad I got it in the nick of time.

One of the many mods that makes the game even more epic. If your computer can play it, you can actually make Skyrim a whole new game. Live another life (I grow bored of seeing the same beginning over and over), "realistic" combat, better magic, realistic lighting, gravity hammer from halo 3, flyable broomstick, apocalypse spells, squeakie weapons, monster mod, jaysus swords, handheld potato device, space core from portal 2, lanterns of skyrim, monster wars (pretty much adds the witcher 2 into skyrim), equippable lanters, SkyRe (how it should be made imo), xenius, custom zelda sound effects, theif enhancements, sneak enhancements, deadly dragons, castlevania dungeon, and many more. Time for an upgrade I think but if money is tight on your end, go trade Skyrim on 360/PS3, get Dragon's Dogma, get Skyrim on the PC. Like I said, it's an all new game with mods.

Two Worlds II, I'll just say that it's a VAST improvement to the first one. Well it's playable for one thing. Playing as a mage is pretty kick ass. Pretty much the B-movie equivalent of an RPG.
I played it for Xbox it was really lame haha, I had no idea what the hell was happening.

Like I said, it's at least playable compared to the first one.

Orcs Must Die, a hybrid third person shooter tower defense game. Pretty gun game, but you can always try out the demo.
I actually never heard about this game, might pick up the demo.

I've beaten the game and don't worry, it gets harder. Just stick with the regular version if you're planning on buying it though. I heard the items from the goty edition aren't that great.

I'm thinking about picking up Sonic Generations. I do like platformers and I enjoyed the demo. Never really played a sonic game before (was never interested).

Bullshit as in Mass Effect 3's original ending, or bullshit that it's a huge spike in difficulty?

Left 4 Dead 2
Sonic the Hedgehog

Hmm, you make a convincing case, I still will probably wait for further price drops. I waited to pick up New Vegas when it went on sale for $5 lol. Also, Dragon's dogma is the shit most interesting combat of an RPG I've played so far (but that really isn't saying much I haven't played a lot of RPGs in my life).

As in your life bar drains, only rings can replenish it, your going so fast you can only see rings until it's too late and the boss doesn't take damage very easily. Some people might not find it difficult, I found it frustrating.

ooo New Vegas is also pretty good. Although, I haven't used mods on it either. Pick one or the other, I'd personally go with New Vegas because, like you said, it's cheaper compared to Skyrim.

Well I do like frustrating boss fights. It feels more rewarding when you beat them. I think I'll pick it up.
