Podcast intro

Hello everyone, I've been recording a video game podcast over the last few months and soon will be making it public for the greater interweb area. Before I do though, I need to get some great License free audio for The intro sequence.

I have found tons of great audio on Newgrounds.com but I'm confused on how to use a snippet from a piece of work I've found on here

Do I need to get in contact with the artist directly or can I just credit them in the Description for the Episode? Is any piece of audio on Newgrounds.com up for grabs or is there and area where these sort of license free audio files can be found.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

There isn't anything on Newgrounds that is "License free"... Everything uploaded here is under the Creative Commons license.

So if you can use it or not depends on how you run the podcast really... if you're making any money off of it, no, you cannot use anything from here without negotiating with the artist first.

If it's non commercial, then technically, you can just use anything as long as you credit the artist... however, I'd still suggest asking for permission first... or at the very least tell them you're planning on using it.

Most of the artists here are very friendly/cheap or free if you can getahold of them what kind of music are you looking for?
