Minor additions; just gonna touch it up more from here on out, starting with the fence. Any suggestions welcome.
My recent art felt a little rushed even after I felt I was done with them; this one and onwards I'm hopefully gonna try to move away from that.

A re-do

Another
In this one I put more into the background and tried a simpler design. Made the black lines thinner to try to minimize their presence, I thought they looked out of place. I try to go with thinner ones for a bit like the demon one.

So this one I try some foreshortening and even less lines, this picture made me realize one of my weaknesses so instead of working at it I try to make the next ones without lineart.
This one I painted straight from the sketch, tried a low angle. I thought maybe this might have been a good try
Tried a more dynamic pose, added some stuff back to the design... idk
I just better practice better sketches and line art. Minimizing bad habits
Old habits...

Make sure that the cards have a bit of shading on them too, because right now they seem flat, like they're all on the same plane/.

Good point, I'll edit that next.
I've been pretty busy with rl, but I plan to return regularly. Off and on I've been practicing and I picked up a wrist injury that slowed that but has been getting better. I didn't get this picture up to where I wanted it to be, but I'm ready to move on.
Creature design has been the focus of my practicing. This is old and I didn't have the chance to remember to upload but here it is now
My second piece of digital fan art I ever done. I feel like it was worth it since I like the concept. I kinda want to do more.
Does broken down, possessed killer animatronics count as creatures?
I think for your work something that is kind of wonky is the way you shade, and the way you light your figures. I think you should push the values a bit more and study textures of different objects and how they shadows are cast and the way the shadows affect the colors of the objects. In some of your recent pieces everything casts the same or nearly the same amount of shadow and the night scenes are more like dark daytime scenes. Keep in mind that a yellow light would cast a violet shadow and that would then affect the color of the object in the way that the lighter bits of the object would be more and more affected by the color of light and the reverse for the shadows and everything underneath the shadow bits.
Who is the hunter?

I think I understand. I actually had the opportunity to see an example at work today. There was a blue strip of paper under a yellow light that did appear purple within the shadow. I will definitely research this more and work on my shading and lighting. Thanks.
This project was inspired by Arvalis; had trouble settling on which Pokemon to draw. I really wanted to do Magnezone and even tried to experiment with various Isopoda but I just couldn't get it to work.
I then wanted to do Slowbro but I didn't have the motivation and my Emboar sketches just weren't cutting it so I was going to just move on to something else. Then a friend of mine suggested I do his favorite Pokemon, Toxicroak.
I tried to do better with my light and shadows as well.
