Problem while opening .FLP file.

Hey people.

I can't open one of my flp files anymore... it freezes and it says at the bottom: "Opening: Fruity Limiter". I use FL Studio 10.
Is there someone who can help me? And do I post this on the right forum?

How long have you let it try load? I know sometimes it just takes a while for it to load up certain VSTs for me... although I find it odd that it'd freeze up on the Limiter of all things.

Also, for the future, we do have a thread for FL Studio questions.

I've had the same problem with the Fruity Speech Synthesizer once. I forgot about the project, and when I tried to open it a few months later it opened successfully, and I still have no clue why. I know this doesn't help you with anything, but if you try it again sometime it might actually work.

One or more of the samples you used could be corrupt or if you moved the samples to a different folder or location then it could be searching for them. If it persists then just hit escape once it begins to load the file or VST and it will skip it. After that you can try reloading whatever might be the problem.

I tried to load it for about 15 mins... yeah its the first time ive got that problem and there's no solution on the internet.

The program that Breed gave me does not fix my file, but made it corrupt. Luckily that I've made a back-up.

Already tried. But it freezes when opening fruity limiter :S

Found the solution. A plugin caused it. I deleted it and opened the flp file on another pc. Then I deleted the corrupted Vst and saved it to my pc. Had to rework the sounds. Topic may be deleted ;)
