This Game Jam was fun, but i had a bad headache this morning, but i enjoyed this a lot and i would like to do it again!

Had a great gamejam, and I really enjoyed everyone's submissions :D
It was a lot of fun to participate without signing up! If it's possible I might do that again - until I reach the same level as the entries on top this time. :)
Impressive turnout for the Jam and some really great submission! Congrats to everyone!
Thank you to AustinBreed for taking on the task of coordinating these!! Even though my team didn't manage to get anything put together in time, It was still fun trying!! :D

Yeah, after games get out of "Under Judgement" the ratings tend to start dropping. Why?
1) There aren't as many people who vote for UJ games than for, say, the "new" or "popular" games
2) UJ voters tend to be soft
3) "New" and "Hot" voters tend to be very harsh and leave critical reviews - gamers expect damn near perfect games when they go to indie-dev sites like newgrounds

The biggest problem is the harsh nature of a lot of voters, they expect a perfect game and have no idea it was made in just 72 hours. We were at 3.8, now 3.4ish i think... tis a shame :(

I personally had a ton of fun working on my games this weekend.
I was part of three, but sadly only one made it through.
Luckily, that one is currently doing very well. :]
But I can agree on the harshness on the ratings. I mean, here I am with absolutely certainty that my game is at least a 4.95, and we don't even have a 4.00!

I don't know about you, but I know for a fact that I just submitted the worst engine (by far) that i've ever created.
No, i'm not being hard on myself. It really is the worst game engine i've ever made O.o
However, it was made in 72 hours, so i'm damn proud of the level of physics in it :D
Anyway, the games got a fair rating for games that should have been worked on for several months, not a fair rating for games that were worked on for several days.

Yeah I know that you mean... last game jam our game went from a 3.5 and nose dived to a 2.2.
But good god am I surprised our game this time is currently at a 3.03, I was sure i'd be a 2 tops. :P
