So it appears that Flash is now accepting HTML5 code rather than just AS3. Why am I not surprised that they did this?

I tried to convert my CS5.5 games into HTML5 and it worked like crap. Not to mention it only works on .fla game files, so any self-respecting AS3 programmer won't look twice at this.

Adobe is stopping their support for flash on android, presumably (my theory) to push HTML5.

Will sites like newgrounds die out considering desktops are slowly becoming less and less used while tablets and smartphones take over?..

Or will newgrounds artists make the switch to HTML5? I don't make animations/games myself so don't know if that's even feasible.
