Blood or water flow Jun. 26th, 2012 @ 09:40 PM Reply

I was wondering how you would make a fluid flow in adobe flash. As if you poured some water on the floor and see the lines of it roll and slowly stream across.. I have been googling and youtubing but couldn't find a method.

I tried very manual methods but it came out very choppy. I've also tried to use the lasso tool to cut out paths in the object and run a color in the background to simulate..

Is there any known methods to doing this? I just started working with flash a couple weeks ago and I can't wait to get my first animation out, but theres so much to learn!

Thank you all in advance.

I guess you should just draw it frame by frame it'll probably give you the best effect

I think blood and water flows differently because blood is "thicker".
I may be wrong though.

Really this all about your skills in animating it doesn't matter what program you use for animating if you don't know how objects interact and move you can't animate.

Here are some tutorials I was able to find for you:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWqU7GVAa6s&list=UUTopyaagAIJ cfPbICdPB63A&index=1&feature=plcp

and the lessons on this website

http://flashfx.blogspot.com/

it also has lessons on other special effects you might want to add to your flash

good luck!
